Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse

Up to £35,000 | 40 Hours per Week

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse looking for a rewarding role in a specialist setting? Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) to join their expert team, providing high-quality care and support to male patients with complex mental health needs.

This hospital offers a range of specialist services, including neuropsychiatry, dementia care, rehabilitation for severe and enduring mental health conditions, and support for older adults. With a strong focus on patient-centred care, the team is committed to making a real difference in the lives of those they support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with a valid NMC registration

  • Experience or specialist training in mental health nursing

  • Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment approaches

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations

  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and evaluating the mental health of patients

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Providing therapeutic interventions and emotional support

  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care

  • Educating patients and families on coping strategies and available resources
