Venn Group have been approached by a Specialist Association and would like to introduce the following position available:

Position: Registered Manager - Children and Young People

Location: Salford

Salary: £54,000 per annum with up to £12,000 bonus

Length: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a safe, warm, and supportive children’s home that promotes positive outcomes for young people.

• Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and maintain consistently high standards of care.

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of care professionals, supported by a dedicated Deputy Manager

• Recruit and build a compassionate, high-performing team that shares the home's values and vision

• Support team members’ professional growth through training, mentoring, and the internal Academy programme

• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to create a strong community and deliver holistic support

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing an Ofsted-regulated children’s home rated “Good” or above.

• Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safeguarding, and enabling young people to shape their own futures.
