Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum Bonuses: £5,000 welcome bonus + annual bonus Location: West Sussex
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s residential home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). With an amazing Ofsted rating, this home supports young people with complex needs and promotes a nurturing, trauma-informed environment.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of a children's residential service
Lead and support a dedicated team with mentoring and professional development
Develop and maintain child-focused care plans in line with regulatory standards
Manage referrals, build trusted relationships with external professionals
Monitor budgets, rotas, and service quality to maintain high standards
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and internal policies
Foster a therapeutic and emotionally supportive environment
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management of Residential Childcare
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted inspections, and compliance
Knowledge of trauma-informed care models
Proven leadership and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with families, professionals, and stakeholders
Extensive training & development with funded qualifications
