Job Description - Registered Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential care service in the Wirral area. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care, team leadership, and regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager
  • Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery and promote continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and professionals
  • Lead a person-centred approach that is accessible, flexible, and reliable
  • Recruit, train, and manage a competent and compassionate staff team
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance policies and internal procedures
  • Carry out day-to-day administrative and reporting tasks efficiently

Registered Manager Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Care Manager, Service Manager, Deputy Manager, or Registered Manager
  • Recognised qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to lead, delegate, and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in adult social care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
