We are currently supporting the search for an experienced and values-led Registered Manager to lead a well-established, multi-service care home in East Lancashire. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to oversee a diverse service supporting both older adults and individuals under 65 with more complex needs, within a supportive and people-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Hold CQC registration and overall accountability for a dual-unit care home • Provide clear, compassionate leadership across both residential/dementia and under 65s services • Lead, support, and develop the Deputy Manager and Unit Managers • Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred care across the service • Promote a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe team culture • Drive strong governance, safeguarding practices, and regulatory compliance • Oversee operational performance, staffing, and financial sustainability • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders • Act as a visible and reassuring presence within the home, especially during change • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service development
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated service • Experience managing complex or multi-service care settings • Strong understanding of care provision for both older adults and under 65s with additional needs • Confident leadership style with the ability to inspire, support, and develop teams • Excellent knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) • Eligible for CQC registration • Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills • A calm, empathetic approach with the ability to lead through change
