Registered Manager

Proline Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Dual Registered Manager for two two-bedded Children's Homes in Castleford.

Deputy Home Manager vacancy details:

• Deputy manager Salary = from £50,000
• Contract Type = Permanent.
• Job Type = Full time.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure all Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted guidelines are both carried out and adhered to in addition to ensuring Quality Standards are always met
• To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
• To ensure all documentation are up to date
• To promote the development of the children and young people.
• To ensure that the home environment is appropriate and sensitive to the needs of the children being looked after there and complies with health and safety and other legal requirements.
• In liaison with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the needs of the young people are met
• To complete administration duties
• To ensure staff are fully trained and inducted in accordance to company policies and procedures
• To undertake on-call responsibilities as required

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years successful experience working with children in a residential setting
• Achieved or willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management or transferable qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience of staff supervision
• Full Driving Licence

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience is required.
