gap healthcare is recruiting for a Registered Manager for a children's residential service situated in Mundesley, Norfolk. My client is well established and is a leading provider of children services. The service is for a 4 bed EBD home.
Salary – £40,369 - £43,500 per annum
Hours – 37 hours
Area – Mundesley, Norfolk .
Permanent vacancy
Responsibilities – Registered Manager Children Services
To be a member of the Senior Management Team within a residential setting.
To attend weekly Senior Staff Meetings in a liaison and advisory capacity.
To chair Child Care Staff Meetings where designated.
To offer formal Supervision to members of the staff team as delineated in the Staff Support and Development Programme.
Where delegated, to offer Line-Management within the Staff Support and Development Programme for Child Care Staff.
To assist in the professional development of colleagues by involvement in other relevant aspects of the company's Staff Support and Development Programme.
Care Managers will hold a responsibility for the following specific duties held in rotation within the group also the general organisation and operation of the home on set designated shift times.
Hold operational responsibility for a specific management aspect of the home (e.g. recreation programmes, administration of medication, etc).
To play a significant role in the training and induction of Child Care Staff.
Skills required – Registered Manager – Children Services
Level 5 Diploma/NVQ (Children and young person's Residential or equivalent).
Experience within a similar service is required due to having a working knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
Hold over 2 years experience as a registered Manager
Have experience in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.
The passion and desire to motivate staff and service users to achieve their full potential.
Driving licence
Preferred, commuting distance from Mundesley, Norfolk.
