JOB SUMMARY
Registered Manager to join a new Residential Children’s Home, Residential setting for children with various complex needs including LD and Autism (ASC)

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care. Foster a positive and supportive working environment.
• Compliance & Registration: Work with RI and wider team to ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Care: Develop and implement individualised plans for each young person, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritised.
• Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, external agencies, and the local community to support the home’s objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve service delivery, implement best practices, and ensure the home remains at the forefront of childcare excellence.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
• At least 1 year in a management role
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young people’s Workforce
• Childcare
• Knowledge and or experience of leading an Ofsted inspection
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards
