Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (Cannock)

Salary: Up to £48,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced residential childcare professional ready to take the next step in your management career?

We are proud to be partnering with a rapidly expanding care provider for children and young people, currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for one of their well-established children's homes in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate organisation specialising in supporting young people who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and who may present with challenging behaviours. The home offers space for 3 children and young people aged 8-18.

Competitive salary: Up to £48,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and guidance to your care team
Ensure the home operates efficiently and in line with relevant legislation, policies, and OFSTED requirements
Promote positive outcomes for young people through education, activities, therapeutic approaches, and emotional support
Oversee recruitment, vetting, and induction of new team members
Contribute to a comprehensive training and development programme for staff
Support and develop your team to ensure high retention and excellent morale
Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioning authorities, regulatory bodies, and multi-disciplinary professionals
Ensure full Health & Safety compliance within the home
Register with OFSTED and uphold all regulatory requirements and conditions


Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services (or willingness to work towards)
Experience at senior level in a children's residential setting
Solid understanding of strategies to support children with trauma and challenging behaviours
Full UK manual driving licence
Commitment to ongoing professional development to meet the needs of young people
