Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home (EBD & LD)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential home, providing high -quality, child -centred care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). You will be responsible for the day -to -day management of the home, ensuring it operates in full compliance with Ofsted and all relevant legislation, while creating a safe, nurturing and stable environment where children can thrive.

Key responsibilities​

• Lead, manage and develop the residential home in line with Ofsted regulations and organisational policies.
  
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare and outcomes for children and young people.
  
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and implemented in practice.
  
• Manage, supervise and support staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and rota planning.
  
• Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
  
• Work in partnership with local authorities, external agencies, families and professionals to promote positive outcomes for each child.
