Summary
Compass Associates are delighted to partner with an ambitious privately owned care provider which support both younger and older adults in the North of England. At present they operate 9 services this could soon grow to 18 following a pending acquisition. Together we are seeking a Registered Manager who will have oversight of the overall operations encompassing nursing, maintenance and people management functions of the service. The service in question is approximately 40 beds and has 2 units, the largest for complex care, primarily mental health and challenging behaviour, the other for EMI dementia.

Further Responsibilities include:
To provide leadership to the administration, care and nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management functions of the service
To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service, and selling its services at the agreed prices
To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the line manager for the service
Liaise with the provider, ensuring all necessary reports are sent timeously
Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive management culture
Develop and communicate strategic plans for the service
Oversee the implementation of the service’s policies and procedures
Evaluation of the service’s goals and quality objectives

Essential Criteria:
Successful candidates will have a RMN/ RNLD nursing qualification and valid NMC pin
You will offer experience working with young adults with a mental health diagnosis / behaviours that challenge
You must offer a proven record of managing a similar service

Location
This role is based in Lancashire, you will be based from the home in question.

Process
The first stage will be an initial teams meeting with the CEO & COO which will be more exploratory in style. This is to be followed by a formal face meeting at the service where you will likely to be needed to complete a presentation.
