Registered Manager – St George’s Lodge Residential Care Home

📍 Location: Worthing, West Sussex
💷 Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per year (depending on experience)
⭐ Bonus: Performance-based bonus scheme
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus on-call

We are seeking an inspiring Registered Manager to lead our 26-bed residential care home in Worthing, providing a warm, professional, and high-quality service to residents and their families.

The Opportunity

You will lead with confidence, compassion, and professionalism, shaping a culture where outstanding care is delivered every day.

You will:

• Bring strong clinical understanding, emotional intelligence, and leadership capability


• Lead, develop, and motivate a committed care team


• Collaborate with peer managers across the group


• Work closely with Directors to drive quality and improvement

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day home operations and champion excellence in care


• Ensure compliance with CQC, Care Act 2014, MCA, and DoLS


• Promote dignity, independence, and safety for all residents


• Inspire and develop staff through clear leadership and support


• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
  

About You

✅Experienced care home leader with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
✅NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
✅Strong knowledge of adult social care regulations
✅Excellent communicator who leads by example
✅Values-driven, compassionate, and resilient
