Registered Manager / Leading National Children's Service Provider

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading national children services provider to find a Registered Manager to join the team in Colchester.

The role of the Registered Manager encompasses overall operational responsibility for the service or services, ensuring smooth operations, and effective staff allocation and management. You will oversee the delivery of excellent operational services within your area, regularly supervising Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and/or Senior Support Workers. This role specifically focuses on supporting younger children.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support person-centered services within your area.
• Ensure health and safety of the people we support and staff.
• Ensure staff actions support care, protection, well-being, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and support Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers through recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage budgets and staff deployment effectively.

Experience:

You must have within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children; (worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role; and by the relevant date, attained— the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) ("the Level 5 Diploma"); or a qualification which the registered provider considers to be equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma.
