Registered Manager ( PBS ) – Learning Disabilities
Location: Suffolk
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

An established care provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small Learning Disabilities service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the service and ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership to the care team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
  • you and the staff team will be trained in PBS and will sign up to a pledge to delivering that care, as well as receiving regular support from PBS leads and practitioners. You will role model and ensure PBS approach is delivered by the whole staff team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance, to maintain the highest standards of safety and care.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring each resident receives compassionate and high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular care needs assessments and develop comprehensive care plans alongside multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor care quality through audits, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, ensuring full compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a Learning Disabilities home
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team of professionals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices, including CQC standards
