Join our Client as a Registered Nurse, where you will lead the provision of exceptional nursing and personal care to our retired soldiers, known as In-Pensioners. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of care aligned with the Nursing & Midwifery Council code of conduct and the values of our Client.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Implement, supervise, and monitor nursing and personal care in accordance with professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with the Care Quality Commission's Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
• Enhance the quality of daily life for all Pensioners through support in planned activities and person-centred care.
• Manage documentation, medication processes, and shift responsibilities in line with regulatory standards.
• Act as Duty Nurse managing the Infirmary as rostered, ensuring professional collaboration across the hospital departments.
• Lead and manage the care team, providing training and supervision to ensure high standards of care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective interaction at all levels.
• In-depth clinical knowledge relevant to a geriatric care environment.
• Experience in managing care plans and risk assessments according to NMC guidelines.
• Knowledge of the needs and rights of older people, with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• RGN or RMN qualification, with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience in mentoring and assessing within a clinical setting.
