Registered Nurse FTC – Permanent Relocation to Portugal

Location: Near Lagos, Algarve, Portugal
Contract: 1-Year FTC Contract with Permanent Relocation
Salary: £28,100 per annum – paid into either a UK or Portuguese bank account

Holiday: 28 days per annum
Accommodation: Fully provided

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) or equivalent to join our team in a live-in role based near Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new experience abroad and who would enjoy living and working in Portugal.

The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Portugal. All reasonable relocation costs will be covered, including agreed travel expenses incurred in attending an interview.

About the Role

The role is suited to a caring, reliable and experienced Registered Nurse who is comfortable working in a private residence, live-in environment.

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of care and supporting the individual's day-to-day wellbeing. You will need to be confident working independently, while also communicating effectively with the wider household.

Cooking experience in European cuisine would be advantageous, as the role may also involve preparing meals and supporting with day-to-day household requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

* Is a Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) or holds an equivalent recognised nursing qualification

* As this is a live-in position, it would ideally suit someone who is flexible and able to fully commit to the live-in arrangement.

* Has relevant nursing experience

* Has a caring, patient and professional approach

* Is reliable, trustworthy and responsible

* Is comfortable working in a live-in environment

* Is able to work independently and use their own initiative

* Has good communication and interpersonal skills

* Is willing and able to relocate permanently to Portugal

* Has cooking experience (advantageous but not essential)

* Must be able to drive an automatic car and have a clean driving licence

Location

The role is based near Lagos, in the Algarve, Portugal.

This is a genuine relocation position, and the successful candidate will be expected to live in Portugal for the duration of the role.
