Registered Nurse and Carer Manager for Private In home Care Company

Our Client is a well respected, boutique live-in care company providing care across the UK for a select and discerning clientele. Key to their success is that all their placements have clinical excellence as a baseline.
We are looking for a registered nurse with current registration with NMC and ideally experience in elderly care, to drive forward this clinical excellence and ensure that all their carers are delivering high quality care as per CQC regulations.
Candidates must therefore have a strong understanding of CQC regulations and a strong understanding of healthcare operations including clinical practices and quality management.

Key responsibilities of the role :
Act as Registered Manager and manage the relationship with the CQC as well as ensuring the company is properly prepared for inspections.
Manage care planning and risk management process to ensure clients have up to date and relevant care plans and carers are fully briefed on how to deliver these to a high standard
Support the Placement Team to effectively complete consultations that provide necessary clinical information
Provide direction and procedures for the operations and placement teams to deliver case management and support to carers and families
To support the Workforce Management process by completing in person and virtual supervisions with our carers to ensure they are delivering a high standard of care.
Provide guidance to the Operational Team on all aspects of workforce management and training
Act as the point of escalation for emergency situations or clinical matters
Salary £55/65,000 per annum depending on experience

Please note this role will involve some UK travel so car driver essential and will be based at least two days in the office (close to Clapham Junction on the river) with a degree of flexibility for home working.
