As a Student Nurse, you will be working alongside our care team as well as shadowing other Nurses to develop your clinical skills under supervision and build confidence in your role. Our Learning & Development team will work alongside you as well, to ensure all your training needs are met, and you will be supported with OSCE preparation if you are working towards your NMC registration. Key responsibilities of the role include: Assisting Registered Nurses with medication and care planning (under supervision) Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to our residents Ensuring principles of safeguarding are maintained Adhering to company processes and completing any required training Coordinating and delegating shift work Infection prevention and control Liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams Upholding clinical governance standards About you Being one of our Student Nurses means demonstrating compassion, dedication, and commitment towards enhancing the quality of life for others. Previous experience in the role is ideal but not required, and whether you're a newly qualified nurse or an experienced professional working towards their NMC registration, we are ready to stand by you and support you reach your career goals through tailored training and development. A few things will be essential to be successful in this role, and these are: A Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC A valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse(RGN)/Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD)/Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with their mobility If you have qualified as a Nurse outside the UK and you are in process of registering with the UK NMC, we will require: Confirmation of your UK NMC PRN Clearance to sit OSCE. Computer Based Test (CBT) pass confirmation and English language evidence accepted by the UK NMC.
