Ready to make your mark in Regulatory Affairs?
We’re looking for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join a growing team and take ownership of chemical classification, SDS authoring, product labelling and regulatory compliance across a diverse product portfolio.
This is a hands-on role where your expertise in CLP/GHS, SDSs, PCNs and UFI codes will make a real impact — working closely with R&D, Quality, Operations, Commercial and Marketing teams to keep products compliant and moving forward.
Commutable from Redditch, Birmingham, Studley, Worcester, Droitwich, Alcester, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Knowle, Solihull, Warwick, Halesowen, Bromsgrove and Balsall Common
Duties
* Classify products under EU CLP, GB CLP and GHS, ensuring accurate hazard classifications and labelling.
* Author, review and maintain SDSs for formulated products, using Lisam ExESS or equivalent.
* Manage Poison Centre Notifications (PCNs) and UFI codes, including submissions and updates.
* Review and approve product artwork, labels and packaging for regulatory compliance.
* Assess the regulatory impact of formulation changes, raw material substitutions and new product development.
* Ensure classifications are accurately reflected across SDSs, labels, technical documentation and marketing materials.
* Keep on top of changing chemical regulations and identify their impact on the product portfolio.
* Provide expert regulatory advice to colleagues across the business.
* Support process improvements, SOP development and regulatory training.
Requirements
* It is essential to have experience in Regulatory Affairs.
* Solid SDS authoring experience using Lisam ExESS or equivalent.
* Hands-on experience managing PCN submissions and UFI codes.
* Knowledge of EU/UK chemical regulatory requirements.
* Strong attention to detail with the confidence to provide expert regulatory guidance across the business.
