Regulatory Policy Senior Analyst - Banking

JSS Financial Services are pleased to be partnering with a top financial markets and commodities focussed bank who are looking to make a key hire within their regulatory policy team.

This is a high exposure, strategic position within the business. This team is renowned for top quality learning and development with fantastic progression opportunities. The successful candidate will benefit from working closely with senior individuals within the team and across the business and will enjoy a commercial, forward looking position within an established, renowned bank with excellent onward opportunities.

The successful candidate will be someone interested in:

Analysing upcoming regulatory change and taking ownership of internal communication with regards to these publications
Conduct impact analysis of regulatory updates with regards to the bank
Maintain relationships with senior individuals in the business with regards to regulatory updates
Actively engage with the change and control functions and contribute to regulatory change projects
Support production of formal governance documents such as Pillar 3, ICAAP/ILAAP/Recovery Plans etc
Help strengthen the interaction between the policy and regulatory production teams
Scenario testing with regards to the business' capital and liquidity positions and provide commentary on changes to stakeholders across the business
Ensure regulatory policy and policy calls are accurately comprehended by the reporting team

The business are very keen to speak to those with:

An accounting qualification, or working towards an accounting qualification
Some regulatory reporting experience/exposure
An interest in UK/EU Prudential regulation, especially with regards to Basel 3.1 and CRR/CRD
Good problem solving abilities and great attention to detail
A strong communicator who enjoys collaborative working
