What you'll do

The Regulatory Reporting Data & Delivery Manager is accountable for the production of Schroders’ prudential regulatory reporting outputs. The role owns the reporting production process from source data through calculation, transformation, reconciliation, template population and submission. It is responsible for maintaining an efficient, resilient and scalable reporting capability that supports current regulatory obligations and future change, including Basel 3.1.

The role will lead the regulatory reporting data systems and associated control environment, combining regulatory reporting knowledge, data capability, delivery discipline and strong stakeholder management.

Regulatory reporting production

• Own the production of Group prudential regulatory returns, including sourcing, transformation, calculation, template population and submission.


• Lead delivery of reporting outputs in line with regulatory and internal timetables, ensuring issues are identified, prioritised and escalated in a controlled way.


• Maintain a clear production plan across recurring returns, ad hoc requests and regulatory change activity.


• Ensure reporting methodologies, calculations and key assumptions are understood, documented and consistently applied.


• Data governance, documentation and controls partnership


• Build and maintain clear process documentation, data lineage, calculation records and handover materials.


• Provide the data, evidence and explanations required to support independent controls, review and sign-off.


• Work closely with stakeholders across Prudential Reporting, Risk, Finance and Technology to address findings, improve evidence quality and strengthen the reporting control environment.


• Escalate production issues where a control point cannot be met, in line with agreed procedures.

Stakeholder management

• Lead, coach and support team members involved in regulatory reporting production and delivery activity.


• Set clear priorities, allocate work effectively and build capability across the production team.


• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory reporting data and production matters.


• Build effective relationships across Finance, Risk, Technology, Data Office, Change and other business stakeholders.


• Communicate reporting risks, delivery progress and improvement priorities clearly to senior stakeholders.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Strong experience in prudential regulatory reporting within financial services, ideally banking, asset management or investment management.


• Experience producing, reviewing or overseeing regulatory returns such as COREP, IFPR, own funds, capital adequacy reporting, Pillar 3 or equivalent submissions.


• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting data, calculations, reconciliations and controls.


• Experience managing complex reporting processes involving multiple source systems, data transformations and dependencies.


• Proven ability to lead delivery activity, manage competing priorities and resolve issues under reporting deadlines.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with Technology, Finance, Risk, Data and Change teams.


• Ability to document processes, data lineage, assumptions and key controls in a clear and audit-ready manner.


• Experience with regulatory reporting platforms, calculation engines or data warehouses.


• Familiarity with SQL, data query tools, reporting automation or workflow tools.


• Experience improving manual processes, reducing key-person dependency and strengthening operational resilience.
