Reinsurance Binder Advocate/Technician

This award-winning Lloyd's Broker, with offices across the globe, are renowned for continuously delivering for their valued clients and partners, offering a broad range of innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions.

Due to the rapid expansion in business and continued successes, they are now actively seeking a talented individual within their International Property & Casualty Reinsurance Division, as a Reinsurance Binder Technician.

This encompassing role involves Broker Support, Premium Processing, Excess of Loss and Light Claims duties, with plenty of client and market involvement. This is an incredibly exciting time to join the business and is ideal for an individual in a current London Market Technical Insurance or Reinsurance Binder position, who's passionate about developing their career and pursuing a multi-skilled and disciplined role.

Role Duties

• Performing broker support and premium processing duties
• Assisting with the servicing of the client’s account and ensuring a high retention level
• Attending client and reinsurer meetings
• Identify client’s requirements and work alongside them to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Actively builds relationships with team, internal and external clients
• Providing support to Brokers
• Prepare and maintain account statistics
• Review and process premium and claims BDX
• Negotiating claims throughout the whole process

About You

• 2 years of experience in a Technical London Market position
• Experienced in premiums processing for Binder business (Insurance or Reinsurance)
• Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to deal with clients and market in a timely and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
