Relationship Manager

Reed banking are currently representing a specialist boutique bank that is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager in Property Finance. This prestigious role involves maintaining, developing, and managing a portfolio of customers to ensure quality and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in property finance and a proven track record in relationship management.

• Manage daily customer relationships and actively market the bank's property services to new and potential customers.
• Conduct risk assessments for propositions from customers or potential customers.
• Prepare and present property proposals to the Credit Committee.
• Ensure the provision of property lending services and monitoring procedures are executed to a high standard, complying with the bank's rules and best practices, and adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop property ARMs to uphold best practices in property and lending within the UK.
• Issue Heads of Terms and facility letters, and conduct regular site visits for monitoring purposes.
• Regular liaison with lawyers, valuers, and monitoring surveyors.
• Monitor external ratings, watch list customers, and financial/non-financial covenants.
• Prepare responses for Loans reviews/Internal Audit and address any exceptions.

• Extensive experience in property finance and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and credit management processes.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong customer relationships.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory standards in property finance.
