Join Our Team 

The Southfield Trust is seeking to build a bank of Relief Teaching Assistants to help with ensuring robust cover across our Multi-Academy Trust.

We offer the opportunity to work in an urban setting, supporting a diverse group of SEN students to achieve their full potential. 

The Role 

As a Relief Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons 

  • Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks 

  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment 

  • Monitoring and recording student progress 

  • Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup 

  • Casual hours, across all of our six Eastbourne sites.
