  About the Role:
  
  
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of world religions, ethical theories, and philosophical concepts.
  
  
  • Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical analysis, discussion, and independent research.
  
  
  • Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and discussions, providing constructive feedback.
  
  
  • Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to philosophy or ethics.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Ideal Candidate:
  
  
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
  
  
  • A strong knowledge of world religions, ethical theories, and philosophical concepts.
  
  
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead thoughtful discussions.
  
  
  • A passion for fostering intellectual curiosity and respect for diverse beliefs.
