Religious Education Teacher

You would be working in a highly successful Humanities department teaching Religious Education across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department plays a central role in developing students' understanding of different faiths, cultures, philosophies and ethical viewpoints while encouraging respectful discussion and critical thinking.

Students are challenged to explore complex moral, social and philosophical issues through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. The curriculum is broad and ambitious, allowing students to develop analytical skills, independent thinking and a deeper understanding of the diverse world around them.

The department has a strong record of examination success and teachers work collaboratively to create stimulating learning experiences for students of all abilities. Staff are encouraged to contribute to enrichment activities, intervention programmes and wider curriculum development.
