We are working with a high-performing, mixed state school in Dagenham, to recruit a passionate and engaging Religious Education Teacher to join their growing team from January 2026. This role has opened as part of the school’s exciting expansion and commitment to delivering outstanding education to all pupils.

You will teach a broad and inclusive RE curriculum
from KS3 to KS5, with a focus on diversity, tolerance, ethics, and world religions. Every student at KS4 takes GCSE Religious Education, reflecting the school’s ethos of respect, inclusion, and academic ambition.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3–5


• Collaborate with a passionate and supportive Humanities department

Experience and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Experience teaching Religious Education
  to students aged 11–16 (KS3/4), KS5 desirable


• Strong subject knowledge and excellent planning and organisational skills


• A passion for RE and a commitment to inclusion and diversity


• Strong behaviour management and a proactive classroom presence
