About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons to students across all key stages, fostering a love of learning about religion and fostering critical thinking skills.


• Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive RE curriculum aligned with the Catholic ethos of the school.


• Support the spiritual and moral development of students, promoting Gospel values within the classroom environment.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the RE department and across the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education.


• Possesses a strong understanding of and commitment to the Catholic faith.


• Demonstrates a proven track record of delivering high-quality RE lessons to secondary school students.


• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of varying backgrounds and abilities.


• Maintains a passion for RE and the ability to inspire a love of the subject in others.
