Vision for Education is seeking a Teacher of Religious Studies to work in a secondary school in Blackpool, Lancashire from September 2026. As a Teacher of Religious Studies in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be an expectation to teach some Key Stage 3 History lessons, with all resources and support provided. This Teacher of Religious Studies position in Blackpool, Lancashire would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Religious Studies within a secondary school setting.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Confidence to teach some Key Stage 3 History lessons with provided resources.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
