The Role:
Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that explore the Christian faith, other world religions, and philosophical and ethical issues.
Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Religious Studies curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and spiritual growth.
Play an active role in the school's Christian ethos, supporting students in their spiritual development and encouraging them to live out their faith in their daily lives.
Contribute to the school's pastoral care system, providing guidance and support to students, and working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure the well-being of all students.
Candidate Profile:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a good understanding of Christian theology, scripture, and tradition.
Be passionate about Religious Studies education and have a genuine commitment to fostering students' spiritual and moral development.
Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's Christian ethos and values.
