We are recruiting for a Remedial Plumber to join a growing water hygiene and compliance business covering Brighton and the surrounding area.
This is a varied, field-based role involving remedial plumbing works, water hygiene duties and daily travel to customer sites. The successful candidate will receive full role-specific training and ongoing support.
The Role
As a Remedial Plumber, your duties will include:
* Completing remedial plumbing repairs to ensure water systems remain compliant
* Installing, repairing and maintaining pipework, tanks, valves and associated fittings
* Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring
* Flushing water systems and outlets
* Cleaning and descaling showerheads and other fixtures
* Travelling to different customer sites each day
* Completing accurate job sheets and compliance records
* Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
* Working in accordance with ACoP L8 and health and safety procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
* City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous plumbing or remedial maintenance experience
* Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and proactive approach to work
* Ability to follow procedures and work safely
Previous experience within water hygiene, legionella control or compliance services would be beneficial but is not essential, as additional training will be provided.
