Based in Newport, this national firm combines tech-enabled processes with a genuinely people-first culture. With an annual firm turnover of £18 million, the residential property department generates over £13 million annually, growing year on year. The remortgage team is one of the most established arms of the business, currently made up of around 40 people including senior conveyancers, team leaders, and dedicated support staff.

You’ll manage a caseload of remortgage matters from start to finish, covering tenancy remortgages, staircasing, leasehold, and transfer of equity files. The role is fully focused on fee-earning: reviewing titles, reporting on mortgage offers, dealing with third parties, progressing files proactively through the CMS and ensuring great client service. There are no business development or sales targets; just high-quality legal work in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be supported by a friendly, collaborative group, with regular training and an open-door management style. There’s also plenty of opportunity for progression - several team members have stepped up into supervisory or training roles over the last year.

The firm offers an excellent package, including a competitive base salary (£28k – £40k DOE) plus uncapped bonus (paid monthly and quarterly based on individual targets), an annual firm-wide bonus (last year £1,000), hybrid working, flexible hours, and up to 40 days holiday.
