About the Role - AAT Apprenticeship Trainer

As an AAT Apprenticeship Trainer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, curriculum-aligned training to apprentices at varying levels of their learning journey. From designing engaging lessons to providing tailored mentoring and support, your role is central to helping learners develop into confident, work-ready professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering accounting-focused training in a clear and accessible way

• Supporting apprentices with personalised coaching, guidance, and feedback

• Creating assessments and tracking learner progression

• Maintaining accurate and compliant learner records

• Collaborating with internal teams to enhance teaching materials and learner experience

• Staying up to date with current accounting practices and educational methods

Who We’re Looking For

Are you a driven and inspiring individual with a background in accounting and a love for teaching? If so, you might be the accountancy apprenticeship tutor we’re looking for. Your ability to break down complex concepts and empower learners to reach their potential will be key to success in this role.

You’ll need:

• A degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A recognised teaching qualification or demonstrable tutoring experience

• Previous experience mentoring or tutoring apprentices or students in accountancy

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, software, and industry tools

• Exceptional communication and motivational skills

• Proficiency with digital learning tools and platforms
