About the role

Key details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm/ 3.30pm finish of Fridays, 39 hours per week


• Wage: £15,862 to £19,662 per year (Age dependant)


• Location: Advanced Manufacturing Park, Brunel Way, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S60 5WG 


• Apprenticeship Standard: Level 2/3 Accounts Assistant 


• Duration: 17-18 months
  

Overview of the role: 

We would like someone to add to our Finance Team as we need support for the Purchase Ledger as the current employee has reduced their hours and also to learn and support the Finance Function as the business is growing and we have a few projects that we need help with including moving site and introducing an ERP System.

Key responsibilities: 

• Purchase Ledger Cover


• Development of Fixed Asset Register


• Cashbook


• Credit Control


• Sales Order Analysis


• Assisting with month end


• Learning the business


• Supporting the introduction of an ERP System

About the Candidate 

Skills & Personal Qualities Required:

• Computer literate & knowledge of Excel 


• Good Interpersonal and social skills


• Ability to work well as part of a team 


• Excellent communication skills 


• Strong numeracy skills 


• Strong attention to detail 


• Passionate about Business & Finance 


• Positive attitude to learning 

Qualifications Required:

• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 5) essential


• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential


• Level 2 AAT qualification preferred for Level 3 apprenticeship

Apprenticeship Overview

• You will work towards either your Level 2 or Level 3 Accounts Assistant qualification across a total duration of 18 months!


• Training provider: LMP Group: https://lmp-group.co.uk/ 


• All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release


• An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!
