Advanced Practitioner - Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team

Location: East of England

Salary: £46,142 - £52,413 per annum

Permanent - Full Time

NonStop Care is working with a local authority in East of England who are looking to appoint an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join their Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within fostering, supporting both children and carers while contributing to the ongoing development of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Practitioner in the fostering recruitment and assessment team, you will:

  • Undertake and oversee complex fostering assessments and provide specialist advice.

  • Support the recruitment, assessment, and development of foster carers.

  • Provide consultation and guidance to colleagues, using your expertise to support best practice.

  • Contribute to team development and ensure children's voices remain central to decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience

  • Previous fostering experience and knowledge of fostering regulations

  • Experience supervising staff, managing complex caseloads, and applying trauma-informed practice

  • Full driving licence
