Associate Scientific Director - Ashfield MedComms UK 

We are excited to have a new Associate Scientific Director vacancy to add to our global support of a leading pharmaceutical client. The role will support both publications and medical affairs activities, giving great day-to-day variety. 

This role would suit someone who is passionate about medical communications and experienced in creating both publications and medical affairs materials. The assets we work on are practice-changing; your care for, and creation of, high-quality scientific content to support these products will be invaluable. You will also have secondary responsibilities for line management, mentorship, and reviewing work of junior team members, to ensure these high standards are met and maintained throughout. 

You will use your medical communications expertise to work closely with colleagues and clients as a trusted advisor. You will have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships, help to provide best-in-class content and develop the account.
With key therapy area knowledge in respiratory, immunology or infectious diseases, you will be able to build on your scientific knowledge to understand, analyse and assimilate market, therapy area and product information, contributing to conversations with the senior team and clients with a focus on ensuring your team’s success.

You should have a commitment to quality, applying a sense of energy to all you do, and be able to always maintain a positive attitude, instilling pride in the team for the work produced.

Content delivery will include publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations) and medical affairs materials (slide decks, symposia, infographics) within established teams.
