The company is in the public sector and this role can be done mainly from home. They have offices all over the UK and some on the team choose to go the office weekly, some monthly and other twice a year - the choice is yours! The development used to be done by an external agency and now they are building a team in house so you will be getting involved pretty much from day one, an exciting opportunity!

Description

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and scenarios.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyse test results to identify issues.
• Ensure the quality and stability of software releases by implementing robust testing practices.
• Provide detailed documentation of test processes and outcomes for stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and recommend tools to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and share automation expertise with the wider team.
• Monitor and maintain test environments to ensure reliability.

Profile

Must haves:

• Automation experience
• Set up automation scripts from scratch yourself
• Been the sole tester or worked in a small team
• Any of the following or similar - Selenium / Playwright / Jest / NUnit / xUnit /MSTest
• Code Driven API testing
• Tested front end UIs
• Tested back end APIs
• TypeScript or C#
