Job Description - Business Development Associate London

Are you a driven sales professional with experience working with IFAs and Wealth Managers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, office-based environment where your success is directly rewarded?

We’re partnering with a highly reputable asset management firm seeking a Business Development Associate to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving growth, developing client relationships, and making a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Become an expert in the company’s investment products and how they benefit financial advisers.
  • Proactively source and engage new clients through targeted outreach, calls, and meetings.
  • Manage and enhance the sales pipeline, ensuring the CRM is always up to date.
  • Work towards and exceed ambitious sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize business development strategies.
  • Represent the company at roadshows and industry events, building your profile within the sector.
  • Deliver exceptional service, ensuring long-term client relationships and continued success.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience working with IFAs, Wealth Managers, or Financial Advisers – either directly or in a sales capacity.
  • 2+ years in a sales or business development role, ideally within financial services.
  • Those currently in a Wealth Management setting will also be considered.
  • A results-driven mindset with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
