Calypso Functional SME

Are you a seasoned Calypso Functional SME with deep expertise in Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and Money Market instruments? We are actively seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our Capital Markets team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Calypso expert to play a critical role in shaping front-to-back office operations within a dynamic investment banking environment.

This role is for someone who thrives on understanding complex business needs and translating them into robust Calypso solutions. You'll be at the forefront of driving successful implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, working closely with various business stakeholders.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to Calypso SME for Fixed Income, FX, and Money Market products, providing invaluable insights and guidance.
• Business Requirement Translation: Collaborate extensively with trading, risk, and operations teams to meticulously gather and document intricate business requirements.
• Calypso Configuration Guru: Configure the Calypso system to meet diverse functional needs, including trade capture, lifecycle management, and settlements.
• Implementation & Support: Provide crucial functional support for Calypso implementations, upgrades, and ongoing BAU enhancements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough functional testing, provide UAT support, and assist QA teams in crafting comprehensive test cases.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with development teams for any necessary customizations or integration points.
• System Integration: Support interfaces and workflows with essential upstream/downstream systems such as Murex, Bloomberg, Reuters, and Markit.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure stringent compliance with internal controls and critical regulatory requirements like MiFID II and EMIR.
• Mentorship & Training: Share your knowledge and expertise by providing training and guidance to users and junior team members.

What we're looking for:

• Experience: 8+ years of solid experience in Capital Markets, with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso (v15 or later).
• Domain Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Fixed Income (FI), Foreign Exchange (FX), and Money Market (MM) instruments and their end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Calypso Modules: Proven experience with Calypso Trade Workflows, Trade Capture, Settlement, Confirmations, Collateral Management, and Risk modules.
• Calypso BO Configuration: Familiarity with Calypso BO configuration, Event Templates, Task Station, and Accounting Rules.
