Client Engagement Officer – Apprenticeships (South of England)

LT Selection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading national apprenticeship and workforce development provider.

We are seeking a relationship-led Client Engagement Officer to support major existing employer accounts across the South of England. This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, delivering engaging activity in the field and turning employer and learner interest into measurable apprenticeship starts.

About the role

Working alongside account managers, you will increase awareness of apprenticeship opportunities across multiple employer sites. You will plan and deliver regional engagement activity, identify workforce-development needs and support employers and learners through the engagement and onboarding journey.

The role is remote and field-based. Applicants must live in the South of England and be willing to travel regularly throughout the South East and South West.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong, trusted relationships with employer stakeholders, operational leaders and internal teams.
  
• Develop and deliver regional engagement plans for allocated client accounts and sites.
  
• Run presentations, drop-in sessions, campaigns, events and other on-site engagement activity.
  
• Identify workforce-development needs and promote relevant apprenticeship pathways.
  
• Generate learner interest and convert engagement into suitable apprenticeship starts.
  
• Support employers and learners through the engagement and onboarding journey.
  
• Maintain an accurate pipeline, record activity in the CRM and report clearly on progress and outcomes.
  
• Work closely with account management, marketing, recruitment and onboarding colleagues.
  
• Travel regularly across the South East and South West.
  

About you

Essential experience and skills

• Experience in employer engagement, account management, apprenticeships, training, education or workforce development.
  
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, communication and influencing skills.
  
• A commercially aware approach, with a focus on converting engagement into measurable learner starts.
  
• Confidence managing a remote, field-based diary across a broad territory.
  
• Strong organisation, self-motivation and attention to CRM and pipeline data.
  
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England.
  

Desirable

• Understanding of the apprenticeship levy and the Apprenticeship Service.
  
• Experience supporting large or multi-site employer accounts.
  
• Experience planning regional engagement campaigns, presentations or events.
  

What’s on offer

• Salary of £28,000–£31,000.
