Job Title: Commercial Development - Process & Project Lead (Internal Applicants Only)
Salary: £55,000
Hours per week: 35

You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.

About the role
We are recruiting a Commercial Development and Process Lead, with responsibility for driving operational excellence and ensuring the effective delivery of commercial projects. This includes the pre and post aspects of client sales, the triage of opportunities as well as the ongoing delivery of BAU activity of client engagement, including management of aged and bad debt.
In this role you’ll introduce smarter processes, remove blockers before they slow teams down, and create a culture of quality and accountability. Working across functions, you’ll connect people, align priorities, and make sure every project lands on time, on scope, and above expectations.
The main areas of work for this role are:
· Analysing, designing and optimising end‑to‑end processes to improve efficiency, quality and customer experience.
. Developing and maintaining standardised processes, documentation, workflows, SOPs and governance frameworks.
. Leading and delivering cross‑departmental projects with defined scope, milestones and measurable outcomes.
. Monitoring KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics, producing high‑quality reports and insights for leadership.
Essential criteria
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a data driven mindset to support decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Commercial experience influencing and managing multi‑layered stakeholder relationships, including senior and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management experience with relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- 5–10+ years’ experience in operations, project management, sales operations, or process improvement.
- Experience managing revenue, expenditure, and forecasting.
