Commercial Insurance Broker

We’re working with a growing brokerage company who are seeking an experienced Commercial Broker to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to manage a portfolio of clients, win new business, and provide tailored solutions across a range of commercial risks.

The Role

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering advice and ongoing support.
• Negotiate terms with insurers and secure agreements that deliver the best outcomes for clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure informed advice.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, focusing on retention and cross-selling.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory and company standards.
• Produce accurate reports and forecasts for senior management.

About You

• Proven experience in a commercial broking or business development role.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to manage multiple clients and transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• IT proficient, with experience in CRM systems and MS Office.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate (or similar) desirable.
• Professional certifications (e.g. CII, RICS) advantageous.
