Court of Protection Business Development Specialist

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and credible business development professional to take ownership of a specialist proposition at a leading UK wealth manager.

This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on expanding relationships with deputies and personal injury lawyers, supporting individuals and families with complex financial needs.

You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the business plan for this key client segment, working closely with internal stakeholders across financial planning and investment management to ensure a truly integrated proposition. Acting as the subject matter expert, you’ll lead on pitching, represent the firm in the media, and collaborate on proposition development, pricing, and delivery.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Deep knowledge and experience in the Court of Protection and personal injury space
• A proven background working with deputies or personal injury lawyers (whether as a lawyer, planner, investment manager, or in a BD capacity)
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to lead pitches with authority
• Professional qualifications in investment management or financial planning (CII/CISI)
• A collaborative mindset and gravitas to influence both internally and externally

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home and either a regional office or the London head office. If based outside of London, occasional travel to the capital (minimum once a month) will be required.
