We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. A bank that listens to what our customers don’t like about finance and does the opposite. We’re redefining what it feels like to work in finance. We're excited to be hiring a brand new Credit Strategy Manager role here at Zopa to lead one of our credit strategy and analytics team!
You will join and manage a high performing team that are engaged with driving step-change improvements in performance of our lending strategies. You will do this by utilising existing sophisticated analytical and testing infrastructure to make recommendations for changes to credit strategies by combining analytical modelling with credit and commercial judgment.
At Zopa, Credit Strategy Managers are responsible for the development and optimisation of credit strategies spanning the entire customer lifecycle. Your role will vary from building valuation models, to setting pricing and underwriting strategies.
You will be leading on a product within our growing lending portfolios; Unsecured Personal Loans, Car Finance, Credit Cards and Point of Sale Finance. You'd be joining Zopa at a great time where you will be able to pair rich datasets from a large portfolio of prior lending with an exciting growth trajectory.
Collaboration is key at Zopa which means you'll work closely with our cross-functional teams including data science, product, and engineers to develop and drive growth strategies, influence strategic decisions and identify new opportunities through the application of leading-edge analytical techniques.

Towards the end of 2025 Zopa will be relocating to a brand-new headquarters at 20 Water Street in Canary Wharf. The 44,000 square foot workspace will foster collaboration and inspire creativity for our 900 employees amidst our 2025 growth blitz.

We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance. This hybrid role requires you to come to our London office 2-3 days a week.
