The role is home based with learners located in Southampton and the surrounding area.

Purpose of the role: Early Years Assessor

You will be managing a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners (including Functional Skills), both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Providing mentorship and coaching to the learner through to completion of their Early Years apprenticeship qualification.

Early Years Assessor: Essentials

• Assessing experience, delivering Early Years Apprenticeships
• UK driving license and use of own transport
• Home Based - covering Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester and Basingstoke
• A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work

Early Years Assessor: Salary and Expenses

• The role is full-time, permanent
• Mon-Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends
• Home based and flexible working - manage your own diary
• £30k - £33k annual salary depending on experience and qualifications
• Full travel expenses
• 2 weeks paid leave at Christmas + 21 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
• All equipment including laptop, mobile phone
