About the Role

Are you a dynamic Private Client Tax Advisor with a passion for working with entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses during key transactional events? We're seeking a talented and commercially savvy Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a high-growth, forward-thinking tax advisory team.

This role offers a rare opportunity to work closely with founders, shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals, providing strategic, sell-side tax advice that directly impacts the value and success of their business transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide entrepreneurial tax advisory to clients preparing for business sales, restructuring, or equity investments.
• Advise on Private Equity transactions, trade sales, demergers, share buybacks, and sales to Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).
• Utilise expertise in Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Business Asset Disposal Relief (BADR), EIS/SEIS, and other tax-efficient structuring techniques.
• Liaise with corporate finance, legal, and wealth management professionals to ensure holistic transaction support.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development and thought leadership.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, people-focused, and commercially astute. Ideally, you will have:

• CTA / ACA / ATT qualification (or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience in Private Client Tax Advisory, Owner-Managed Business Tax, or Corporate Tax with an entrepreneurial focus.
• A deep understanding of transactions, exit planning, and equity structuring.
• Experience advising on EOTs, PE-backed exits, or share reorganisations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine interest in working directly with ambitious entrepreneurs.
