Job Description - Field Based Sales Consultant

Regional Sales Consultant – Essex & Kent

Salary: Up to £38,000 + Commission (to be discussed at interview)

Your Mission

Our client is seeking a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Consultant to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be central to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fuelling continued growth across Essex and Kent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends
  • Developing and executing strategic business development plans
  • Sourcing and pursuing new leads via networking, cold calling, and industry events
  • Leading negotiations and closing high-value deals
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations
  • Keeping up to date with market conditions, industry news, and competitor activity
  • Analysing sales data and customer feedback to drive improvements
  • Providing regular updates and reporting to the senior leadership team
What Will Make You Stand Out?
  • Proven experience in Commercial Contract Selling is essential
  • Demonstrated success in new business development or a sales-focused role
  • A strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Confidence in building and managing client relationships
  • A self-starter with a proactive, target-driven attitude
  • Analytical ability to spot opportunities and assess potential risks
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
