The Role of the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery

• Carry out scheduled inspections and routine maintenance across a fleet of plant equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues onsite during single visit service calls
• Work on both light and heavy machinery including excavators and dump trucks
• Complete all necessary paperwork and service reports accurately
• Operate safely in a variety of environments including work at height and under machinery
• Service customers within approximately a 25-mile radius from your home

The Ideal Person for the Field Service Engineer – Plant Machinery

• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant Maintenance or similar
• Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with construction or plant machinery
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
