My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant that has a strong understanding of transactional finance and that is interested in the potential of progressing into management accounts.

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant that has a strong understanding of transactional finance and that is interested in the potential of progressing into management accounts. My client is a growing business in the property industry, and are known for their investment to providing top quality training and progression pathways to their staff.

Description

• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable including processing invoices, statement checks & preparing payment runs
• Council tax reconciliations
• Preparing payroll schedules ready for payment
• Intercompany recharges B2B
• Supporting month end processes including calculation and processing of accruals, prepayments and deferred income
• Working collaboratively with the management accountants function and credit control to investigate and resolve all accounts receivables queries
• Proactively and professionally manage supplier and resident queries by telephone or email

Profile

• Have gained relevant experience in a similar Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger role
• Strong communication skills
• Ambitious and motivated to progress
• Ability to work as part of a team

Job Offer

• Generous salary of £28,000
• Hybrid working after probation (3 days on site/2 days at home)
• Discretionary bonus up to 10%
• Study Support in ACCA, CIMA
