Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead finance and accounting across the UK & Ireland. This home-based role reports into the regional leadership team and works closely with the global finance function.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FP&A, statutory compliance, cash management, and inventory accounting, and will thrive in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across the UK & Ireland
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and scenario modelling
• Align local FP&A with global strategic and performance objectives
• Oversee timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end closes
• Manage collections, vendor payments, payroll, and general ledger activity
• Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities
• Support inventory accounting (COGS, stock reconciliation, etc.)
• Continuously improve financial systems, reporting, and internal controls

Your Background

• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance operations
• Proven track record managing collections, payables, payroll, and inventory
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and regulatory compliance
• Detail-focused, analytical, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Experience in a multinational or subsidiary finance environment
• Essential: Sector experience in biotech, medtech, or pharmaceuticals
